Chief Thomas Stoerger, accompanied by assistant chiefs Tim Carroll and Mike Oakes, awarded members Jon Donovan (far left), Ron Coppolino (far right) and Paul Zuckerberg (grey shirt) a commendation for a ‘save’ they participated in. While responding from NUMC to second rescue in 6012, the ambulance waa flagged down by NCPD officers on Newbridge Road. The NCPD members were responding to an aided case, with CPR in progress.

The crew of 6012, were joined by members of BellmoreMerrick EMS. After multiple shocks and rounds of meds and good CPR the patient experienced a return of spontaneous respirations and a pulse. He was brought to Winthrop/NYU Langone for further treatment.
